Hatteras Island Christmas Parade, First Saturday in December
Because not everyone likes to travel over Christmas, we’re starting the festive adventures earlier in the month with a peek at our Hatteras Island Christmas Parade. It offers themed floats from which Christmas candy will often be tossed, live music, and of course, Santa himself anchoring the parade. It’s a short procession, only extending out about a mile, and is followed by cookies and cocoa at the Hatteras Community Center.
