We can’t even start to tell you all the ways your vacation at the beach will change you, but we can assure you that our oceanside (and ocean view) rentals are far easier to find than those that are not. We understand that it is the beach you have come to see, and whether you are a couple seeking a romantic getaway in our oceanside rooms, a small family seeking a reasonably priced beach vacation in our oceanside suites, or a larger traveling group looking to stay close together in our oceanside cottages, there will be no regrets. Oceanside Rooms You Will Love
There are two configurations of oceanfront rooms at Lighthouse View, one offering a king bed and space for two, and the other offering two queen beds and room for four. These charming rooms are designed to remind guests that if they want to see the sea; all they have to do is step outside onto their semi-private decks to soak in the views that will warm their hearts. Our rooms do not offer kitchens, but they do offer microwaves, mini-fridges, and coffee makers, as well as a sitting area where you can relax with a cup of coffee. The premium beds will give you the best night’s sleep of your life and state of the art televisions prove that technology can be a good thing when not at work!

Oceanside Suites You Will Adore
Our oceanside Cape Hatteras rentals offer everything our rooms do, only with a lot more amenities, not just the views of the ocean. These spaces allow you, and your family, the opportunity to enjoy a premium beach vacation while also saving money, as they provide fully equipped kitchens. Full sized refrigerators and stoves will enable occupants to stay home, make a meal and relax without having to leave the waters that have become your new obsession and dining tables with enough seats for every seat in your traveling party can be where you dine. There are actually multiple configurations of oceanside suites, including one bed and a Murphy bed, one bed and one bunkbed, and a really cool loft suite, offering a king bed in its own room, a single bed tucked into a wall niche, and a loft with two more beds. Designed to hold five people comfortably, they also provide living areas, so although we call these suites, they could be considered condos or apartments instead!
Oceanside Cottages Will Make Your Dreams Come True
Nearly every beach lover has had that dream of staying in a cottage on the beach, its weathered shingles standing as a testament to its strength and ability to handle the tests of time. Our cottages offer as few as 2 bedrooms and as many as 6 bedrooms, with the largest providing room for up to 16 people. These charming retreats invite families and friends to come together to enjoy a beachy escape to the Outer Banks, and as you rest, relax, laugh and talk with your favorite people on earth, you may be wondering why you ever need to return to real life.
Everything (minus the job and money!) can be found right here in our oceanside cottages! Are there any wild horses on Cape Hatteras?
Unfortunately, the last wild Banker pony on Hatteras Island passed away in 2023, but the other barrier islands in the Outer Banks aren’t that far away so you can schedule a visit to see them on Ocracoke Island or the beaches of Corolla without too much effort.

We recommend trying their Anchored dish, offering grits, topped with cheese, sausage patties, and eggs.

We get in pretty late on our first day, do your properties offer starter kits or welcome baskets so we can wait to do our shopping the next day?
Yes, we provide a small bottle of dishwashing liquid, a roll of paper towels, toilet paper in all the bathrooms, and a small selection of toiletries, allowing you to have that first night to settle in before you go shopping to stock up.
