Before you book we want to take a moment to update you on current beach conditions following recent weather events.

Since the last few fall and winter storms, our property and the surrounding shoreline have experienced severe erosion and ocean overwash. While our team is working diligently to maintain the property, these natural changes have impacted beach access and the overall appearance of the shoreline and the property. There is currently excess sand in walkways and parking areas, heavy machinery at times, little to no beach currently, exposed sandbags along the shore that meet the water, exposed old concrete pool, etc.

BUT we remain the only oceanfront resort on the island offering beautiful accommodations for your Hatteras Island vacation with miles of beaches nearby to enjoy.

GOOD NEWS: BEACH NOURISHMENT IS SCHEDULED FOR MAY 2026!!

Because your vacation experience matters to us, we want to be very transparent about our resort aesthetics. If the current state of the property are not in line with your expectations, please reach out with any questions.

With that said, please know, our properties and rooms remain clean, safe and welcoming for guests! Hatteras Island has miles of beaches nearby to enjoy and we still have some of the best views of the ocean!
